CAPREIT, a fully integrated real estate operating company responsible for the ownership and management of more than $5 billion of multifamily assets, today announced it has been recognized by the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) as a finalist for best design of a corporate office space as part of the 2023 Premiere Design Awards.
CAPREIT was recognized in the 20,000 square feet or under category and will receive a trophy for its runner-up finish. IIDA noted that the CAPREIT office, designed by FORM Architects, “merges urban style and sustainability while providing employees the comforts of home. This WELL certified space features carbon negative flooring; the first of its kind in the DC Metro area.”
“We’re extremely honored to receive this esteemed recognition from the International Interior Design Association, which is always regarded as the preeminent measuring stick for the industry,” said Andrew Kadish, president and CEO of CAPREIT. “This recognition is emblematic of our dedicated focus to providing a comfortable working environment for associates, which we believe is particularly paramount in an era when employee wellness is so crucial and so valued.”
