CAPREIT, a fully integrated real estate operating company responsible for the ownership and management of more than $5 billion of multifamily assets, today announced the grand opening of Baldwin Chase, the company’s first single-family build-to-rent community.
Situated at 14 Absaroka Drive in south Mauldin, less than 20 miles from Greenville, S.C., the community features a variety of sizable three- and four-bedroom homes with various layouts. An official grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on March 21 at the community’s model home along Connally Trail and featured Mauldin Mayor Terry Merritt and the Upper State Chamber of Commerce.
“Baldwin Chase is a best-in-class community that offers residents a chance for a relaxed single-family living experience, but without the maintenance and upkeep demands of owning a home.”
“We’ve long had ambitions of entering the single-family market, and we believe this is the perfect location and ideal community to start building our footprint in the space,” said Andrew Kadish, CEO of CAPREIT. “Baldwin Chase is a best-in-class community that offers residents a chance for a relaxed single-family living experience, but without the maintenance and upkeep demands of owning a home. While all the benefits of city living are within easy reach, the community offers an escape from the hustle and bustle in a quiet, serene location.”
